This is a 2-day workshop.
Workshop Notes
For this workshop the painting of the still life image will be demonstrated in oils on a wood panel coated with white primer. The reference image will be drawn on the surface prior to the workshop. Please note the reference photo hasn't been received yet. Jane will let you all know when she has it.
Workshop participants can choose their preferred substrate for the painting, for example canvas, wooden board or paper suitable for painting on.
Sebastian will use an ipad to display the reference image while painting. Print outs of the reference image will be available for participants or you are welcome to bring and use your own screen if this method is preferred.
The exact colours are not essential but a similar colours are recommended for this image.
The brushes used by Sebastian are chosen for their precision and soft blending capabilities. At least one brush suitable for fine detail and one soft blending brush are recommended.
